Download Emulator Ps2 For Pc PCSX2 1.4.0 +BIOS+Plugin By Admin Ganteng Posted on June 19, 2017 June 19, 2017 Download Emulator Ps2 For Pc PCSX2 1.4.0 +BIOS + Plugin Hay Kali ini admin share emulator yang berguna untuk memainkan Game playstation 2 Ke PC yaitu PCSX2. That is incorrect. You don't need region-specific BIOS files to play games from other regions. PCSX2 doesn't care about regions. After you dump your PS2's BIOS files, all you need to do to play a game from another region is select it in PCSX2 and click on 'Boot CDVD (Fast)' like you normally would.

Guide: Best configuration settings for PCSX2 1.4.0 (for newcomers)

After using PCSX2 since 2013, I can freely say that I found the most optimal settings to run almost all my games full FPS. I will not dive deeply into explanations but I will mention the best choice for each category in brief. I'm using PCSX2 1.5.0 but with the old AVX2 Plug-in (the new plug-in is still buggy), if you have 1.4.0 stable version you are good to go.

CAUTION: Make sure you have your games folder and PCSX2 folder in the same partition (preferably outside of C drive) otherwise PCSX2 will struggle with fps drops

Your CPU:

Dual core and Quad core CPUs are recommended for better emulation, single core ones are out of this topic.

Game Compatibility:

Always check the state of games you are going to play from PCSX2 wiki page, some games needs special than the default settings. https://wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php/Complete_List_of_Games

If a game is natively buggy with PCSX2 or Multi-platform game but was ported badly to the PS2, its advisable to get the alternative version instead of the PS2 version. (e.g. Sonic Heroes GC version is better than the PS2, while True Crime NYC PS2 version is alot better than the badly-ported GC one, also FIFA Street 2 is struggling with PCSX2 but emulated fascinatingly in Dolphin)

Plug-in/BIOS selector:

Video Plug-in: from slowest to fastest (SSE2<SSSE3<SSE4.1<AVX<AVX2) depends on your CPU, always choose the fastest one available

BIOS: choose USA latest version available (best compatibility)

Leave other plug-ins as they are.

Emulation Settings:

Don't use presets, manual configuration is more optimal.

EE/IOP and VUs pages: default values are the best option (except for some games).

GS page: don't check (Use Sync. MTGS) and leave other options as default.

GS window: you are free to configure it but its preferable to leave V-Sync on disabled for better performance.

Speed Hacks page: for best compatibility use +1 on both sliders (some intensive games require more, e.g.: True Crime NYC works better on +1,+2 sliders), if Quad core check all the speed hacks except fast CDVD, for Dual core check all except fast CDVD and MTVU hack.

Game Fixes page: leave this disabled, they are only required for some games (check PCSX2 wiki for them)

AMD users (like me) only DX11 HW is the best option, for Nvidia I heard OpenGL is good choice too (depends on the game). The difference between SW and HW mode is that the first uses the CPU for rendering while the second uses your GPU. Always go for HW mode for best quality (unless game requires SW mode to work correctly).

Adapter: select your GPU

Interlacing: AUTO

HW mode settings: uncheck (Allow 8 bit textures) as it will lag CPU intensive games (Sly games, WWE SvR games , ..), only some games need it for fps gain (Kingdom Hearts games).

Set game internal res. by using the multiplier (2X for HD, 3X for FullHD,..) and don't use custom res. as it will conflict with some games native res. resulting bad graphics.

Texture Filtering depends on the game,(Bilinear PS2) makes some games have pixelated light effects while (Bilinear Forced) can cause screen artifacts. There's a better option for every game and sometimes doesn't make difference.

AF choose freely, I always take X16 with no problems.

CRC Hack take Full level (best one with DX11), AFAIK Partial level is better with OpenGL, only set to Aggressive level if the game has excessive light rays/bad looking fog effects (Shadow of the Colossus for example).

HW Hacks always unchecked otherwise graphic glitches will occur, only requird for some games to render properly (GTA SA requires Half Sprite hack to render camera photos, WWE SvR requires Alpha Stencil to render shadows correctly).

SW Mode Settings: check Mipmapping and edge anti-aliasing, if dual core type 2 in multi thread box, if quad core type 3.

Shader Options: check enable FXAA, check shade boost only if you want to control image colors or brightness, check external shader if you want to use PCSX2 post effects (requires advanced editing for the shaders notepad file) otherwise leave it unchecked.

Audio Settings:

Interpolation: use catmull-rom for best sound quality, other options will make sound feels scratchy.

Module: I always use Xaudio2 and didn't have problems with it.

Sync. Mode: Async Mix is the best option if you don't want to have sounds synced with a laggy game (though cut scenes will not be lip synced if game is not working in full FPS), if the game is full FPS then Async Mix will work flawlessly, if you want Audio/Video always synced even when lagging then choose time stretch option.

Audio Expansion Mode: Depends on your sound system, I always choose stereo.

Controllers Settings:

Plug in your controller before running PCSX2, use lily pad plug-in every time, in the controller settings under Mouse and Keyboard API choose Raw Input (ignore the recommended settings), under GameDevice API choose Direct Input (Xinput for 360 controllers) and remove any other ticks from this page. Go to the PAD 1 tab and map your buttons normally.

UI and Game Profiles (Optional):

You can use Spectabis front end (Credits to FaithLV) to add a Game Library UI to launch your games from, download game covers and save profile settings unique for each game. The first time you run it it will crash but it fixes itself when you run it again and works without a problem.

Download it from here: https://spectabis.github.io

I have a average-top PC rig and almost all games working full FPS with these settings, heres its specifications:
